Our Philosophy                   

Bailey’s Botanicals was built through years of hands-on experience working with dogs every single day.

As pet professionals caring for hundreds of dogs each year, we have seen first-hand the common issues owners face; from skin and coat imbalances to dental problems and joint stiffness.
Over time, one thing became increasingly clear: many products on the market are overcomplicated, diluted and filled with synthetic additives or unnecessary fillers.

We knew there was a better way.

A Return to Simplicity

We believe canine health is best supported in the way nature intended; through clean, natural ingredients that work with the body, not against it.

Dogs have evolved alongside the natural world. The plants, minerals and nutrients available in their environment have always played a role in supporting their health. Yet modern products often move away from this, replacing simplicity with processed alternatives.

We choose to return to that simplicity.

At the core of Bailey’s Botanicals is a belief: animals instinctively know how to support their own health.

Our approach is inspired by zoopharmacognosy - the study of how animals naturally seek out plants, minerals and nutrients to maintain balance in their bodies. 

Rather than overriding that instinct, we aim to support it. 
Offering clean, natural ingredients that align with what dogs would naturally encounter in their environment.

Working closely with dogs every day has given us a clear understanding of what genuinely supports their health - and what doesn’t. This isn’t theory or trend-driven formulation. It’s built on observation, consistency and long term results.

Every product begins with a simple standard: Does this genuinely benefit the dog? If it doesn’t, it doesn’t belong.

We are inspired by native Irish plants and ingredients; those that would naturally exist within a dog’s environment and traditional way of life. This connection to place is central to everything we do. 

Where possible we work with Irish suppliers, Irish businesses and Irish production; from sourcing to packaging; ensuring quality, traceability and support for local industry.
